Integrated Didactic Approaches to Languages (IDAL)

Globally speaking, IDAL refers to the pedagogical use of other languages in the learner's developing repertoire, and of the learner's experiences of learning and using these other languages.

Objective

The aim of the Commission is to coordinate the efforts of its members to develop IDAL in various countries and internationally, both in terms of its dissemination in language teaching and learning, and in terms of research and teacher training, in conjunction with the association's other activities concerning other pluralistic approaches.
